Sandy Britt

Safety Coach

Coach Sandy, aka Momma Britt, received her medical training in the military. She worked 12 years in the home healthcare industry and retired 6 years ago. 

Coach Sandy was safety coach in 2006 & 2007 and has served on the Chattahoochee Booster Club. 

She is excited to be back this year, making it her third consecutive year taking care of our players!

Brandon Harton

6th Grade Head Coach

Brandon is in his second year as a coach as well as an IRR teacher in Geometry at Chattahoochee High School. However, it is his seventh year teaching! Prior to coming to Chattahoochee, he worked at Central Gwinnett and Oconee County High. Brandon graduated from the University of Georgia in 2013, and was also a member of the UGA Football team as a receiver and running back, during which he earned a scholarship. He has coached both Junior Varsity and Varsity football as a running backs coach, and is currently heading into his fourth year as an offensive coordinator and third year coaching quarterbacks.

Brandon is excited to begin working with the Junior Cougars and looks forward to being a part of the player and program development. Go Cougars! Go Dawgs!

Luther Priester

Nick Liley

6th Grade Offensive Assistant Coach

Nick played Wide Receiver while attending Parkview High School and was also a member of the Track and Field team competing in multiple events. Nick has volunteered as a Flag Football coach for JCYFA and Jr. Cougar Football for 5 years. He has attended Coach's Training and has multiple safety certifications for coaching. Nick runs a residential building business in the local area, his wife is the President for the organization, his oldest son has played for the cougars since 2018. They love their Hooch family and are happy to help develop all the players to their best potential!


Jeff Desalvo

6th Grade Defensive Assistant Coach

Jeff was born and raised in Northern New Jersey where he played football through elementary and high school. He played as an Offensive Lineman and Defensive End. Jeff was chosen to be the Defensive captain his Junior and Senior year. While studying at Villanova, he played in a national flag football league. Jeff has volunteered for the Jr. Cougar Football organization as a Flag Football coach for the past several years. His son, Davis, has played for the Jr. Cougars during this time as well. Jeff has been a Hospital Medicine Physician for  the last 17 years and is currently at Northside Forsyth Hospital as the Associate Medical Director. Jeff has enjoyed the life lessons he learned through football and is excited to develop the players into strong, self-confident young men.


Bruce Fick

7th Grade Head Coach

Bruce has over 15 years experience coaching youth tackle football in the Alpharetta, Chattahoochee and River Ridge programs. He involved with the Chattahoochee Jr. program when Chattahoochee High School won the Georgia State Football Championship in 2010/2011 season. Currently, he lives in Woodstock, GA with wife Julie and son Parker.


Steve Herndon

7th Grade O-Line Coach

In 1999, while attending and playing football for the University of Georgia, he was elected team captain. Steve’s dedication on the field also earned him the Leon Farmer Strength and Conditioning award, given annually to the player whose commitment to the strength and conditioning program results in a significant contribution to the football team. Off the football field, his academic efforts earned him recognition as an Academic All-American and a three-time Academic All-SEC.

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business education, his talent on the gridiron lead him to a six-year career in the NFL, playing offensive line for the Denver Broncos and Atlanta Falcons.

Coach Herndon's talents are going to help develop our players at the very best level. He has coached Jr. Cougar 4th/5th flag, 6th grade tackle, as well as Hooch Varsity. We are thankful for all his service to the Hooch family!

Massoud Atallah

8th Grade Head Coach

Massoud is a lifelong football player & coach at the high school and collegiate levels in Metro Boston. Over a 9 year span, he coached at nationally top ranked Brockton High School. There he coached DB's, WR’s, LB’s, and was OC and special teams coordinator. Playing and coaching also includes 3 MA D1 Superbowls, Xaverian Brothers HS, and Stonehill College where he was a DB coach and RB coach as well as assistant Special Teams coordinator.


Jarvis Coleman

8th Grade Offense and Defense Coach

Jarvis has been a part of the Jr. Cougar Football program for the past 6 years.  He started as a “Dad Coach” but after his son matriculated out of the program, he continued to coach.

It has been his pleasure seeing the young men grow from this program into talented and gifted athletes. He is looking forward to teaching this years team some of the valuable skills needed in order to be successful in the sport of football.
